Julian Maile is a New York born-and-bred musician who's played with a wide range of theater and music artists, including: Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Colin Blunstone (Zombies), Coleman Domingo, John Cameron Mitchell, Michael Cerveris, Joan Jett, Richard Dreyfuss, "Handsome" Dick Manitoba, Paul Williams, Cheetah Chrome, Ian Hunter of Mott the Hoople, Daniel Rey, Moby, Milk 'N' Cookies, and George "Geronimo" Gerky. He has appeared on Jay Leno, Carson Daly, Comedy Central, at David Lynch's TM fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall, and AmFAR's 20th Anniversary gala. He produced world-famous competitive eater/rapper Eric "Badlands" Booker's debut album "Hungry and Focused." He played Shkep in the original stage production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Julian plays in the ongoing Loser's Lounge all-star tribute series at Joe's Pub in NYC, as well as in his own projects Mitra Sumara, Airpheus, and Steely Dance.
